back to square zero

[Το κείμενο διατίθεται μόνο στα Αγγλικά] “back to square zero” explores the relations of friction and conciliation between identity, communication and body as object of work, issues of mobility and potentiality, rediscovery, limits, resistances and constraints. This audiovisual and performative exercise is based on the solo choreography that is repeated an x number of times and to which are added video projections where the performer herself acts and with which interacts, manipulates and recreates live, as well as vocalizations and sounds created at the moment. It explores the confrontation and interaction between actions and movements in repetition, the sound landscape in loop and the videos where reinterpretations of the choreography are presented as well as other layers and symbolic interpretation of the concepts explored in it. To the accumulation and overlap it's added, with each repetition, the exposition of the performer's physical and emotional exhaustion in conflict and conciliation with the body itself, with the attempt to (re) start.
