Audiovisual means have been used since the dawn of mankind to reach altered states of consciousness, hypnosis, trance or meditation, to reach the shores of other worlds, or to communicate with mythological entities.

In 2022, the Mapping festival will bring together a selection of artists, musicians and technochamans to create immersive, psychedelic, collective installations that will allow spectators to travel elsewhere.
The central venue will be located at the KZERN, a former military barracks in Les Vernets, in the center of Geneva, which has been converted into a place for socio-cultural activities. The Mapping Festival thus continues its urban and artistic reflection on places in transition.
