Aisthesis / A brain imaging experience

[Το κείμενο διατίθεται μόνο στα Αγγλικά] When we talk about aesthetics we can hardly imagine this dimension dissociated from the singularity of everyone's life and that is why we want to interpret the multimodal perception of the world through the body.
The main objective was to visualize human sensitivity through the temporal space scan of electroencephalographic signals. Measure in real time the degree of activation of the brain areas of a subject, while observing random scenes ranging from images of sunsets to scenes of mutilation. The collected data are transformed into artificial lights projected on two-dimensional images. A tribute to the perception and its close link with the light, starting from the idea that the being of an object consists in its being perceived.
