Mapping Festival presentation

[Το κείμενο διατίθεται μόνο στα Αγγλικά] The Mapping Festival was initiated in 2005 in Geneva by the creators of the Modul8 software, and the Zoo/Usine, an alternative electronic music venue. The festival is an international meeting, an exchanging and experimenting platform around VJing and live video mixing.

For 6 years, the Mapping Festival has been highlighting this emerging, hybrid and constantly evolving form of art that is VJing.

The festival is also constantly evolving and showing various branches of the discipline, ranging from contemporary art to clubbing, without forgetting the community aspect, strong composant of the VJing movement: audiovisual performances, installations, outdoor projections, lectures, workshops, clubbing nights and concerts are thus part of the identity of the festival.
