VJ Notivago // VideoDance

[Το κείμενο διατίθεται μόνο στα Αγγλικά] In this set, VJ Notívago performs live mixing of images that intrigates the various relationships between dance and moving image.

The core of the presentation consists of videos made by the VJ with dance artists as other dance videos collected in cutural exchanges.

An old mini-DV handycam with high high zoom is used with lots of post effects to create live high contrast generative content, spicing up the visual mix.

VJ Notívago is also a percussionist with background in afrobrazilian music, so the performance is held using light as a percussive instrument, creating direct connection with the music through strobo lights and color.
